VISAKHAPATNAM: Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam’s (IIMV) two-day annual cultural festival, Samaarambh 8.0, concluded at its newly inaugurated permanent campus in Gambheeram. The two-day event served as a vibrant platform for students, faculty, and staff to showcase their diverse talents and celebrate the IIMV community.
Samaarambh 8.0 kicked off with the captivating solo acting competition, "Shadow Weaver," followed by hilarious stand-up comedy routines by Raunaq Rajani and Naveen Richard, bringing laughter to the audience.

The evening concluded with a captivating fashion show, "Ethereal Gala," featuring participants from IIMV and other colleges, along with an energetic performance by the music band "Lost Fireflies" and a pulsating DJ set by DJ Tracer.
The second day saw the stage come alive with a captivating group drama titled "Celestial Opera." Participants took part in an exciting treasure hunt and unleashed their creativity in a messy T-shirt painting competition. The day ended on a strong note with show-stopping solo vocal and dance acts, followed by a soulful acoustic performance by Vani Bhasin, a high-energy performance by Nikhil Dsouza, and a vibrant DJ set by DJ Suit Up.
IIM Vizag director Prof M Chandrasekhar said that the Samaarambh 8.0 served as a unique platform for the IIMV community to unify, showcase their diverse talents, and create lasting memories.
